Foucault's Pendulum - Umberto Eco I both liked it and hated it. Sometimes it made me feel all clever and then it took me down a notch again. And it made me wish I knew french, large parts were just a mysterie to me. But in the end it didn't matter that I didn't follow in every swirly step in this wild dance across time and continents. I closed the book feeling pretty good and assured that the universe will unfold as it should - after all :-D
