A Common Pornography: A Memoir (P.S.) - Kevin Sampsell Well, it was a pretty easy and fast read. Perhaps due to constantly clicking on to the next chapter to see it that was the one with the big emotions. It's a collection of short fragments of memories, some mundane, some dramatic, but all treated the same. His mother telling how his dad sexually abused his stephsister then how the car battery went flat... The most common emotion in the book is feeling 'weird'
Despite the detachment I did enjoy it. If nothing else it is always interesting as a female to get a glimpse into things like male puberty and sexuality and male friendship.
